In this study access to
preventive dental care was compared among children of low-income families with
children of high-income families (>400% of the federal poverty level) in
Georgia. The census tracts revealed that high-income children had better access
to preventive dental care than low-income children had. This study helps to
implement plan of action to increase dental care access for public insurance
